Your performed a home inspection for Dawn and I about 1 year ago, in the Riverside section of Greenwich, Ct. At the time I didn't pay much attention as we were buying a new home and what can go wrong with a new home? Well as I expected the home passed with flying colors. When you went over your report with my wife, you expressed your concern about the 3rd floor game room windows that went from the ceiling to 6 inches off the floor. Your recommended that we install some kind of barrier to prevent a running child from going through the window. My wife did what you recommended and even though the window shattered and the glass wound up in the driveway ,3 floors down, the child gate stopped a child from following it. We would like to thank you for your concerns on safety.

Dear Mr. Longo,

 

You recently inspected a home for us in Bethel, Ct. You said it was a beautiful home and was well maintained. You also showed us a concern that you had with the 5 year old addition and going with your recommendations we hired a structural engineer to look at the roof, where the addition connected to the original house as well as the opposite end where it seemed to be sinking. After getting the engineering report we decided to pass on the purchase of the house. Your keen eye kept us from buying a home that we could barely afford and could have turned into the house from HELL.
